A: The arm rests are adhered to the vehicle with a strong double sided tape and adhesive promoter to ensure it will hold up over time on an open vehicle.

Instructions
IMPORTANT—PREP PROPERLY BEFORE INSTALLATION!!!
Before installation, it is extremely important that the areas are prepped properly. If you have used any shining or waxing agents on this area you will need to use a cleaner to remove any product or residue.
Next clean the area using the alcohol prep pads provided. Then cover the area with the adhesion promoter.
You can now apply your comfy new arm rests!
