Description

The complete kit consists of a new shifter mechanism, upper and lower adapters and required hardware to mount in the car. The entire installation can be completed from inside the vehicle and does not require you to go under the vehicle at all.
Once installed the new shifter makes the shifts much more direct and reduces the throw of the shifter from 4″ for stock to an amazing 2.6″ with the short throw shifter installed.
Installation takes about 30 minutes and is reversible.
Fits: Polaris Slingshot, Pontiac Solstice, Saturn Sky, Opel GT

Q: Can I use the stock shifter ball with this short shifter? I want the install to look totally stock. Will it affect the trow distance? Thanks, Paul

A: The short shifter kit can be installed with the stock shift knob and maintain an completely stock looking appearance.

Q: Does this kit come with the leather or fabric boot to go around the shift stem? Also, does it come with the top ball/knob (the part you actually hold on to when shifting)? Thank you.

A: This is just the short throw mechanism. You may purchase the Shift boot, adapter and knob separately. You will find these at the bottom of this product page under accessories.
