Although our billet gas cap serves a simple purpose, a lot of time was spent in search of the the best blend of looks and ease of use. Through the use of 3-D printed prototypes, multiple rounds of testing were done, until a final version was chosen that we felt looked great and was easy to use. To produce the cap we start with a solid piece of billet 6061 aluminum and then CNC machine it through multiple steps. After production we apply a powder coat finish for all colors of the cap, except the natural aluminum finish. The durable powder coat finish provides a color stable finish on pieces exposed to the sun, keeping your cap looking great for years to come. Standard colors are Satin Black and Gloss Red, but we also offer multiple Special edition* colors to match almost any color Slingshot.

• Powder coated to prevent sun fading that is a common with color anodized caps.
• Easy to grip and tighten/loosen
• Uses factory rubber seal for a tight fit (if you have lost your factory gas cap, you will need to purchase a new seal for use with this gas cap)
